Samantha Garcia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in the field since 2019. She earned a double major in Sociology and Chicano Studies and an M.S. in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, all from Fresno State. Samantha began her career supporting survivors of sexual assault before joining Ascend’s intensive outpatient program in 2023, where she expanded her work with individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. She is passionate about addressing complex trauma, breaking cycles of harm, and fostering resilience and stabilization. In her free time, Samantha enjoys being with family and friends, exploring thrift stores and flea markets, and traveling to new places.
