Ascend Behavioral Health is the Fresno’s first private, mental health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for ages 9-17.
Our PHP program serves adolescents with a wide range of mental health conditions.
Junior PHP for ages 9-12
Monday through Friday from 11:30am-5:30pm
PHP for ages 13-17
Monday through Friday from 9:30am-3:30pm
Overview
Ascend Behavioral Health is the Central Valley’s first teen mental health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Our program is run by talented and experienced mental health clinicians that use evidenced based treatment to help restore health and functioning in teens that are struggling with mental health concerns.
Our PHP program serves teens with a wide range of mental health conditions. This includes teens suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger issues, trauma, personality disorders, and more.
PHP is a great transition for those discharging from inpatient and/or residential programs. Programming at this level of care allows for a smooth, step down in the frequency and intensity of services, while still providing a high level of support.
Services Offered Include
- Initial psychological assessment
- Initial medication evaluation with psychiatric staff
- Individualized treatment plan
- Daily group therapy (DBT, CBT, life skills, and process groups)
- Experiential therapies (art therapy, yoga, music therapy, and community outings)
- Weekly individual therapy
- Weekly follow up psychiatry visits
- As needed couples/family therapy, crisis management, and case management services
- Academic assistance
